We welcome your ideas on how to create your perfect day. Your ceremony could be followed by an outdoor pig roast and bonfire, or fully formal, sit-down, catered dining affair, followed by speeches and dancing, or anything in between.

The Ark has been in business since 2007 and currently hosts over 7-12 weddings per year. The Ark is not a "wedding factory" venue and weddings here are not "big business." Unlike the other overpriced venues, which may host up to 6 weddings in a weekend, we will only host one. This means you do not have to share the grounds with anyone else. You can hold your ceremony any time you like. You can decorate any time of the day BEFORE your wedding. And, you can collect your things any time the day after. You decide every aspect of your wedding and we don't dictate how you do anything. Our job is simly to help you make your vision a reality. We do not provide an "assembly line" wedding service here. Every event is unique and catered to your exact wishes.
We are a near full service facility here. We can provide the wedding and reception sites, the seating, and the sound system. And we can definitely recommend the best DJ's, caterers and transport companies.

What makes us different is our approach. Although we encourage formal weddings here, we like to throw in some homegrown flavour. A wedding at the Ark is not a stuffy affair. It may be formal, but people will feel like they’re visiting a friend and not a sterile conference center. We don’t push a prepackaged system on you. We ask how you envision your day and we do whatever we can to make that vision a reality.
We basically only have one "rule" here and that is "leave the place just as you found it".
We also try to do whatever we can to work within your budget and make sure every dollar you part with is well spent.
